Mariana G-González
I'm Mexican from Mexico City and born in July 1985.
I did my first editorial design studios at the National School of Graphic Arts.
I have been trained at the National Autonomous University of Mexico in the classes of Bolivar Echeverría and Andrés Barreda and at the Metropolitan Autonomous University for Jorge Veraza.
I´ve been organic part of several movements, of students, of popular localities, of gender and sexual diversity, the National Regeneration Movement and #YoSoy132.
As an activist I have translated for events of American and Canadian civil society organizations, organized cultural weeks, lectures, study circles and workshops in addition to designing and editing.
Since 2005 I have dedicated to publishing books and magazines for various companies, publishers and political organizations. In 2010 I started to work with several independent media in writing editorials, radio capsules and chronics. This year im working with IASA communication.
My main issue, even in articles for trade publications, is the critique of everyday life using selected authors from various disciplines.
I am writing my first novel.
