I began living a victorious life November 24, 2008, when I met God in my kitchen. I was 43. It wasn't until I had a revelation of God's love for me that I believed in Jesus. I was filled with liquid love I now know was the Holy Spirit. Four months later I started reading the Bible, and eight months after that I was in Bible College. I have a fondness for this great book and have read little else since. Any question you have, there is an answer for it in the Bible. I've created a blog site (margievess.com) that is an introduction to many questions and answers for new believers, and maybe some surprising insights to challenge what you were taught by man's doctrine versus what God actually says. You'll also find a link to my new E-book that covers additional topics to answer the "now what" question. At any rate, it's hard to approach the Bible without having preconceived notions of what it says, but if you can turn that filter off in your brain and let the Bible get in the way of your theology, your thinking..your own philosophy...that would be a great place to start.
