Brief Intervention Clinician in Oamaru, Otago, New Zealand
I'm a Uruguayan Psychologist living in Oamaru, in the beautiful South Island of New Zealand.
Migrating with my family in 2003 made me aware of the difficulties that migrants face when settling in a new country, learning a new language and different ways of doing things.
I have dedicated the past years welcoming and supporting new arrivals to ensure they feel happy and safe in our region.
After achieving a Bachelor of Social Services and completing my training as an Intercultural Facilitator, I now spend my days doing what I love: connecting with people of different ethnic backgrounds, helping them to navigate cultural differences to live a meaningful life in our new country.
I look forward to connecting with you.
