The Romans said that fortune favoured the bold. It is true. A firm doer and a poet at heart, I believe that the world can be made better and beautiful, and that it all initiates with us, within us, from our little nest to our small town, the little things we do every day which could turn into great deeds. Hence I have always lived with the deep conviction that my life has a meaning outside of the ordinary and so it has been - a miraculous string of events which has led me, almost always, beyond where I had wanted to be, surpassing my bold expectations. And I love it to bits, every moment filled with endless passions.

If I were a small fish I would swim against the strong currents. If I were a big fish I would seek the biggest ocean where I could lose sight of the shore. And then, there in the vast immensity of the moving waves, I would rest.

I have loved hours at sea, gray cities,
The fragile secret of a flower,
Music, the making of a poem
That gave me heaven for an hour;

First stars above a snowy hill,
Voices of people kindly and wise,
And the great look of love, long hidden,
Found at last in meeting eyes.

I have loved much and been loved deeply --
Oh when my spirit's fire burns low,
Leave me the darkness and the stillness,
I shall be tired and glad to go.
