Maria belongs to Gilgit-Baltistan and has done Bachelor in Business, Accounting & Finance. A Gold medalist in Lawn Tennis at federal level, Global Exchange Program Alumni, Steering Committee member of ILMPOSSIBLE, which makes her independent, young leader, youth activist, adventurous, open to challenges and adaptable.

She is Founding member and Ex Finance Secretary of Ismaili student Association which is a community based platform for students of Gilgit-Baltistan stationed in Lahore to gather them at a platform to share their experiences, talents, time and expertise with other students and also with the community.

Maria is currently working as Executive Secretary to CEO in ModeMetric (Software House).
