My Name is Maake Maria; I am a student at the University of Johannesburg studying Bachelor of Education, Majoring in Life Sciences and School ICT Support. My teaching philosophy is based on strong passion for education that began in high school and that will continue to influence my future teaching in classrooms. I believe that every learner is capable of growth, and achievement, when provided with a supportive and inclusive environment. In my classroom, I strive to create a space where all my learners feel respected and valued, regardless of their background or abilities. To improve learning and get my learners ready for this world that keeps on changing rapidly, I'm committed to integrating technology into creative and meaningful ways to enhance learning. Guided by empathy, equity, and belief, I seek to empower learners through critical thinking, creativity, and the cultivation of lifelong learning habits.
