Maria Rea is Founder of Maria Rea Media, and the Creator of the Rea Method. She is a Business Coach, Story Consultant and Transformational Speaker. Maria has created a unique business opportunity "Create a Magazine to Influence with Storytelling. Maria focuses on the strategic effectiveness of storytelling through business and brand marketing communications. Using the science of story, Maria teaches how storytelling alters patterns of belief, values and behaviors, as well as teaches how stories can persuade, influence and inspire.

Maria's vision is to create a community that models integrity, inspires creativity, and embraces uniqueness. She believes that together, we can create a world where everyone has a sense of purpose, lives their passion, and celebrates through storytelling by inspiring and empowering others to live their best life.

In the business of changing lives, Maria has 25 years of business experience in publishing, marketing, communications, and sales, as well as owning and selling multiple businesses along the way, Maria has a great appreciation for the challenges that business owners face on a daily basis.

Maria started her own Magazine Publishing Company in April 2009, six and half months after Lehman Brothers (the fourth largest investment bank in the U.S.) filed for bankruptcy, triggering the collapse of the world economy. She lived in one of the hardest hit areas – Detroit, the country was in a recession.

But after successfully owned her own magazine for 5 years, Maria sold it for a profit and began a new chapter in her journey.

Maria teaches individuals, entrepreneurs, companies, organizations, foundations and non-profits ways to capture attention through branding and marketing techniques involving storytelling, resulting in the close of more sales. She also offers a program for those looking to create a new business or help with exposure around your already existing business by leveraging a 1 to many concept using the method of storytelling.
