Maria Olunloyo

London

I am promoter of health & wellbeing, and as physiotherapist, massage therapist, & youth worker I endorse this through all I do. With 5 years combined experience in physiotherapy and massage therapy, and 3 years spent working with young people, I have excelled in motivating, empowering and encouraging people to adopt healthier physical, mental, social, and emotional lifestyles. Beginning my clinical career in the field of mental health, equipped me with the holistic attitude I adopt towards all my clients and young people. With the discovery of my clinical passion for bodywork (massage and other manual therapies) this holistic approach is greatly complemented, and has inspired my involvement in several successful health and wellbeing projects for mental health clients.

I am an encourager to young people often labelled as 'challenging', helping them to make positive changes to their lives, and make a positive contribution to society.

In the last 2 years I have further developed and expanded my bodywork and physiotherapy skills, completing an ITEC in holistic massage and a diploma in deep tissue massage. The start of my business 'M.O. Therapies' (a massage, physiotherapy & health coaching business), is another step in the direction towards becoming the holistic ‘hands on’ therapist I aspire to be. I am registered with the Health Professional Council (HPC) & Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP), and a full member of the Association of Physical and Natural Therapists (APNT). In my leisure time I enjoy running, working out, reading, networking with people and getting involved in charity events.
