Maria Velazquez is a first year undergraduate student at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. Originally from Puerto Rico, Maria has gained insight of how an international approach to business can lead to success in today's ever-growing market. Thus, she has aspired to earn a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in International Business and a minor in Spanish since moving to her new home in Dallas, TX seven years ago. Maria is a theatre enthusiast and enjoys to perform and attend theatrical plays.
