Maria Freitas

Maria Freitas has worked as a banker with a New York City-based financial institution since 2011. She began as a banker with the institution’s upstate New York branch before advancing to the role of assistant vice president in charge of high net worth clients. Previously, Ms. Freitas spent eight years as a lead analyst and program manager at IBM in Armonk, where she evaluated computer equipment leases primarily in Latin America. She also spent time as a Senior Credit Analyst with the Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi.

Maria Freitas received a Diploma in Credit Analysis from the Department of Finance Law and Tax at New York University’s School of Continuing Education. She completed a depth of additional professional training and classes, including training in the fundamentals of industrial credit analysis and advanced techniques of bank credit analysis. Ms. Freitas holds her undergraduate degrees in political science from New York University, and a Master's in International Relations from the City University of New York Graduate Center.
