Maria Gigante

A human whose ambition to change the world for the better, Maria is on her way to becoming a renowned leader for positive social change.

Her most recent and proudest work was producing a charity festival at a camp for children with cancer, terminal illnesses, those in remission, and their families. She cannot wait to go back to KiDS NEED MoRE Camp Adventure next year with a bigger & better festival for everyone to enjoy.

Since 2011, her determination and drive has lead her to holding positions with booking agencies, record labels, music festivals, and artist management companies in New York City, Brooklyn, and New Jersey. She has toured with Citizen Cope, Ron Pope, Wakey! Wakey!, Alexz Johnson, Ryan Montbleau, and AJR. She has also sold merchandise for Andy Grammer, Colbie Caillat, Danger Muffin, Kate Voegele, LivingSocial's 5K Glow Run, Natasha Bedingfield, Neon Trees, The Offspring, Slightly Stoopid, Todd Carey, and The Young Rascals. The list continues to grow.

Her current positions include Festival Producer for non-profit organization KiDS NEED MoRE Camp Adventure, Merchandise Manager for multiple artists and bands, and Social Media Manager for E.N. Young (Tribal Seeds), Imperial Sound Recording Studio, and Roots Musicians Records.

In her spare time, Maria is pursuing a professional referee license which will allow her to officiate in the highest level of soccer matches nationally and internationally. She has officiated in the highest youth league in the Tri-state region, for multiple New Jersey State Cup tournaments, and in the highest level of NCSA games. Her favorite football team is Arsenal F.C. (by far the greatest team the world has ever seen). She also enjoys visiting historical sites that she has learned about through watching documentaries or reading books. Maria is an avid concert goer, recently surpassing her 125th concert mark last year. Concert atmospheres are an energy that cannot be replicated anywhere else in the world. It's a unique connection family and strangers alike can gravitate to. This is one of the reasons why she works in the music industry; the positive connections she makes are priceless.
