A mental health counselor for more than 30 years, Maria Kechaidis draws on clinical expertise as well as diverse experience in case management. She began her career as a crisis intervention trainer for Women Organized Against Rape, after which she underwent a counseling psychology externship with the Philadelphia social services group Women In Transition. Maria Kechaidis served in the latter role while working toward her master's in counseling psychology at Temple University, having earned a bachelor's in psychology from the same institution.

Subsequently hired as clinical counselor and coordinator of the older adult program at Bristol Bensalem Human Services Center, Maria Kechaidis deepened her experience in evaluating and counseling persons with chronic mental illnesses. She went on to work with a similar population as director of partial hospitalization at PATH (People Acting To Help) and then managed a residential rehabilitation community at Horizon House.

For several years Maria Kechaidis turned her attention to case management and served as a case manager with such institutions as Carrier Clinic and Monmouth Medical Center. Presently, Maria Kechaidis is the clinical director of OMNI Behavioral Health Solutions, which offers counseling, assessment, and other clinical services to children with a variety of mental health and developmental needs.
