Mariam Sobh

I've worked as a journalist in Chicago for more than a decade. Currently I work as an Anchor & Reporter for the CBS affiliate WBBM News Radio.

In my spare time I work on the blog I founded which was the first of it's kind when it launched. Hijabtrendz.com focuses on fashion, beauty and lifestyle from the perspective of a Muslim woman.

I'm also a graduate of the Conservatory and Music Conservatory programs at the Second City Training Center. That's where I delved into sketch comedy, writing for sketch, improvisation, and musical improvisation.

In addition, I do voice over work, singing and acting and I'm represented by Lily's Talent Agency.

I'm passionate about the arts and story telling, and pretty much anything that gets me to be more creative.

Art has healing powers and can change the world, and I hope that I can contribute to positive changes, no matter how small they may be.
