About the Author – Mariam YuakimMariam Yuakim is an Egyptian-American writer and storyteller with a deep passion for creative writing in all its forms. Born in 2004, Mariam began writing and acting in church plays at a young age, discovering early on the power of words to inspire and connect people.
After moving to the U.S., she continued to grow as a writer, creating original plays, stories, and scripts for both adults and children. Over the years, Mariam has gained experience in writing long-form stories, books, church-based and non-religious scripts, screenplays, and even Arabic poetry. Her work ranges from emotional fiction to faith-based drama, often reflecting her unique voice and cultural background.
She has spent years developing her voice through storytelling, focusing on emotional depth, strong characters, and meaningful themes. With experience in writing long-form stories and stage scripts, Mariam has built a foundation rooted in creativity, discipline, and heart.
Her debut novel, Search for Happiness, reflects her love for exploring the human experience. She continues to share her voice through storytelling, always aiming to create work that resonates deeply with others.​

مريم يواقيم هي كاتبة ومؤلفة مصرية-أمريكية، تمتلك شغفًا عميقًا بالكتابة الإبداعية بجميع أشكالها. وُلدت مريم عام 2004، وبدأت مسيرتها في الكتابة والتمثيل في مسرحيات الكنيسة منذ سن مبكرة، حيث اكتشفت قوة الكلمة في التأثير على الناس وربطهم بالمشاعر والمعاني العميقة.
بعد انتقالها إلى الولايات المتحدة، واصلت مريم تطوير مهاراتها ككاتبة، وكتبت مسرحيات أصلية وقصص وسيناريوهات موجهة للكبار والأطفال. وخلال السنوات الماضية، اكتسبت خبرة في كتابة القصص الطويلة، الكتب، النصوص الدينية وغير الدينية، السيناريوهات، وأيضًا الشعر العربي. تتنوع أعمالها بين الروايات العاطفية والدراما الروحية، وتعكس خلفيتها الثقافية وصوتها الفريد.
قضت مريم سنوات في تطوير أسلوبها السردي، وركّزت على العمق العاطفي، وبناء الشخصيات، وتقديم مواضيع تحمل معاني قوية. ومن خلال هذه الرحلة، بنت أساسًا متينًا يجمع بين الإبداع، والانضباط، والصدق.
روايتها الأولى، رحلة البحث عن السعادة، تعكس شغفها بفهم التجربة الإنسانية. ولا تزال مريم تواصل التعبير عن صوتها من خلال القصص التي تكتبها، بهدف لمس القلوب وترك أثر حقيقي في نفوس الآخرين.
