Mariana Martinho

I am currently undertaking a Marketing & Sales Internship at a specialised company in business-to-business trade events for the hospitality industry.

During my undergraduate degree in Business and Administration at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, I found that marketing was the area I was keen to work in. The fact that marketing allows marketers to think outside the box, to create, to make use of inspirations to deliver new strategies convinced me to engage in the marketing world.

My background has helped me to connect with very different industries including acting and volunteering work. Acting taught me how to work as part of a team and to contribute towards a productive environment. The volunteer experience I had in East Timor opened my mind to different possibilities and cultures, improving my communication skills and confidence as I was teaching business and entrepreneurship in a University at the same time.

Commitments, sense of organization and responsibility have been part of my posture since early in my life. I enjoy taking risks, accepting new experiences and challenges.
