I am an Italian journalist specializing in global pop culture, the Korean Wave, and cultural soft power.
I am part of the editorial team at Panorama, where I cover international entertainment, the Asian cultural industries, and coordinate the digital newsroom. Since 2020, I have conceived and developed the first editorial section within an Italian media outlet entirely dedicated to South Korean entertainment, becoming the first to introduce and consistently structure the narrative of Hallyu within the Italian journalistic landscape.
For over five years, my work on the Korean Wave and cultural soft power has reached an estimated audience of more than 5 million readers across Italy and Europe through long-term editorial projects, in-depth analysis, and content focused on the Asian cultural industries and their global impact.
My work centers on the entertainment industry, emerging digital media languages, and the relationship between culture, identity, and global influence, with a particular focus on South Korea. Over time, I have closely followed the evolution of K-pop, Korean television series and reality shows, as well as lifestyle, tourism, and K-beauty, analyzing their cultural and industrial impact for Italian and European audiences.
I collaborate on an ongoing basis with Korean and Italian institutions on editorial and cultural projects related to cultural promotion and soft power, including the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea, the Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS), the Korean Cultural Center in Italy, the Consulate of the Republic of Korea in Milan, and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Rome.
Throughout my career, I have conducted interviews and produced content with artists and key figures from South Korea’s cultural industries, acting as an editorial reference point for Italian and European audiences and contributing to the creation of a stable media and cultural bridge between Italy, Europe, and South Korea.
I am the author of La Corea dalla A alla Z (2023), published with the support of the Korean Ministry of Culture and the Korean Cultural Center in Rome, and Il fenomeno LABUBU (Diarkos), an editorial project dedicated to analyzing new models of fandom, cultural consumption, and global pop culture.
