Marianne McEvoy

Professionally, I have worked in public relations and marketing for over 27 years. Through my consulting business, M. McEvoy Media, I oversee and execute the creation and management of publicity and communications for companies and individuals. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with many dynamic clients -- some trying to change the world and others looking to bring a world of change to their respective industries.

M. McEvoy Media offers the specific services of professional writing, communications consulting, media relations management, contact management, public relations, web content creation and social media coordination. I focus on consistent and engaging marketplace posture as well as innovative, creative and attention-getting campaigns.

Personally, I am engaged to Sam Holmstock, a Berklee grad and professional musician (conga/djembe/trombone/washboard player) who is the co-founder of the band ENTRAIN (known for 21 years of drum-driven jams and for backing up former president and saxophonist Bill Clinton on Martha's Vineyard).

Sam has broadened my publicity arena with the opportunity to represent him in all matters of music publicity.

Sam and I try to keep it simple. He teaches and landscapes while I attempt to keep life on track within the swirling madness of kids, gigs, loud music, PR events and deadlines.

I am embarking on a new professional journey (inspired by my daughter), "Power To Be A Girl" -- a brand meant to empower girls of all ages.
