Mariano Perez

I worked as programmer for games, multimedia applications and media art installations.

Now I am a researcher and doctoral student in media design. My interest are user interfaces, interaction design and information design.

I love Japanese culture and video games. In my spare time I program games with a retro style or for old platforms. You can take a look to my MSX (classic 8-bit computerr) RPG Island of the Oracle and its 3D version with ray casting.

I also work as meristation.com Japan correspondent, specially for game related events.
