Headquartered in Kentucky, Dr. Mariano Galang is a mental health specialist with nearly 30 years of experience in medicine. Dr. Galang holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Santo Tomas, as well as a Doctorate from the De La Salle Health Sciences Institute in the Philippines. Following his graduation, Dr. Galang began his post-graduate training in the Philippines before moving to the United States, where he completed a rotating internship and residency in psychiatry at New York's Middletown Psychiatric Center.

Dr. Mariano Galang's career in psychiatry includes tenures at several mental health facilities in Kentucky, as well as private practice. He has spent time at Lincoln Trail Hospital, Hardin Memorial Hospital, The Brook Hospital, Beacon Behavioral Health, and Baptist East Hospital. Dr. Galang has also been on staff at Louisville Behavioral Health and Caritas Peace Center. Currently, Dr. Galang divides his time between his roles at Heartland Counseling, Louisville Behavioral Health, and the Center for Behavior Health, where he serves as Medical Director. At the Center for Behavioral Health, Dr. Mariano Galang handles initial evaluations and monitors the treatment of the facility's patients. In one of his most crucial roles, he performs evaluations of patients before they are administered methadone treatments, and he checks their progress to determine the length of the treatment.

Dr. Mariano Galang has received recognition from peers for his dedication to excellence in psychiatry. During his time at Middletown Psychiatric Center, Dr. Galang was given a certificate of appreciation and the Clinical Excellence Award. In his free time, Dr. Mariano Galang pursues interests in tennis, gardening, and charity work.
