Mariano Miguel Trinidad
Asia Pacific Regional Controller for Energy and Chemicals in Philippines
A graduate of De La Salle University in the Philippines, Mariano Miguel Trinidad holds a bachelor of arts in political science and a bachelor of science in commerce, as well as a bachelor of laws from San Beda College. Mariano Miguel Trinidad also participated in a management development program at the University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business.
Drawing on more than 30 years of experience in legal and financial services, Mr. Trinidad serves as the regional controller for Asia Pacific operations with Fluor Corporation, a global engineering and construction company. In addition to directing long-term strategic direction and financial and accounting processes, Mr. Trinidad has played a key role in the implementation of various labor utilization and spending reduction strategies.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Trinidad held positions including partner with RS Bernaldo & Associates and senior tax staff member with E&Y Manila, formerly Punongbayan & Araullo. In his three-year tenure with First Philec in Pasig City, Philippines, he helped establish a $150 million joint venture with a wafer slicing business.
