With a degree in Print Journalism, Maria Russo has 10 years experience working in various aspects of Communications. As a copywriter, she creates online content for travel related sites, brochures for luxury hotels, high-end commercial real estate ads and memorandums under tight and strict deadlines. Maria has worked with several content management systems including WordPress, and has extensive experience using social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest. She is the co-founder and editor of The Culture-ist, an online magazine that holds partnerships with Business Insider, The Huffington Post and Google Field Trip, and she has worked in print and broadcast media at companies such as MTV Networks, Harper’s Bazaar, WKTU-FM station and People magazine. Her work has appeared on National Geographic, BBC America, The Huffington Post, Business Insider, StyleList and AFAR among others.
