Maria is an Energy Scheduler for Nalcor Energy located in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Maria graduated from Memorial University in May 2014 with a Bachelor of Commerce Honours (Co-operative) undergraduate degree.

Maria has work experience from her work term experiences in the accounting field and oil and gas industry. Maria also has aspirations of completing her MBA in the future.

Aside from school and work, Maria has a passion for soccer. Maria is an avid soccer player, past Captain and MVP of the Memorial University Varsity Women's Soccer Team and a member of the Kirby United Ladies Jubliee Trophy Team who are eight-time provincial champions. Maria also gives back to the sport by coaching with AIM Soccer Academy.

Maria loves being active, is a healthy eating advocate, and a dog lover.
