Maria Francesca Sorrentino

• The things that make me happiest are my family, traveling, networking, the arts

and music, playing scrabble, cooking, biking & dancing. I am a Wisconsin Badger

Alumni by diploma and by heart. I love Wisconsin!

• In my lifetime, I have been a captain of a performance dance team, a

hostess at a County Club, a file clerk, a waitress, a spin instructor, a preschool

teacher, a banquet coordinator, a hotel coordinator, a court appointed

special advocate, a logistics consultant, a food and culture tour guide and I am

currently a community composter, and a Modern Language Specialist

at a Higher Education Publisher.

• No matter where I go and what I do, I bring a certain "Maria Energy" to it.

What is "Maria Energy"? It is full of ideas and suggestions, enthusiasm,

drive and determination and a whole lot of the question "why?".

My parents' advice has stuck with me along the way...

“You can accomplish anything … but you need to work for it!” and "Anything worth doing, is worth doing well."
