Hi, I am Maria Villarroel. I am from Orlando, Fl, but I am currently living in New York City. I am a junior at St. John's University in Queens. I am in a fast-track program to earn my Bachelor's degree in journalism, and my Master's degree in international communication. I am the Culture Editor Assistant for The Torch, the student newspaper at St. John's. I also work with the Athletics Department as an academic tutor for D-1 Athletes.

I am a fan of music, travel, and arts. I’m also interested in reading and politics.
