Mastery is how you unlock all of a fruit’s abilities in Blox Fruits. The higher your mastery, the more moves you get access to. Mastery is gained by dealing damage and defeating enemies using that fruit. When switching fruits, you must level mastery again, so choose wisely. Fruits with AoE attacks make mastery grinding easier. High mastery is also required for awakening and advanced PvP.
