Marie Pasquariello

I am a dedicated, caring, and highly qualified educator with nearly ten years of classroom experience. In my previous role, as eighth grade English teacher and sixth through eighth grades Language Arts tutor, I enjoyed four years of guiding the youngest generation of my hometown to successes in educational achievement while encouraging character building, goal setting, and personal responsibility.

In my current role as tenth grade English teacher, in rural Ruskin, FL, many students are faced with the harshest economic situations; while these conditions have brought unique challenges, I am consistently amazed at the potential and progress my students have displayed. Despite several barriers that my students have faced, I am proud to be one of the many teachers of Florida who have chosen to fearlessly make it a personal mission to reverse the current trends and disparities of our educational institutions.

Early in my career, I recognized the responsibility of educators to act as pillars of the communities in which we are involved. I routinely volunteer in charitable events and currently teach Faith Formation classes at my local church every Sunday. I am dedicated to leading by example and have a deep understanding that the commitment of building lives goes far beyond the classroom and requires just as much effort after three-thirty.
