Hello, I’m Mariela. I’m a student living in Wisconsin. I've used to live in Iowa City, Iowa where I was born. I have two brothers and one sister including I live in a family of six. Three years ago I won an award of Leadership of John R. Hughes in Hills Bank North Liberty, Iowa. It is one of my biggest awards that I had in my life. However, on that year I received a heavy round glass that showed the name of John R. Hughes that made me super excited. One reason that I won this award is because of helping two girls who couldn't speak english very well. Yes, I'm bilingual I can speak Spanish and English fluently, I can read and write in Spanish.
