I'm a digital media strategist with 10 years of experience. As founding and managing editor, I lead CafeMedia's first niche site to millions of UVs a month and built the most highly trafficked lifestyle site for Hispanic women in the U.S. At Latina magazine, I launched successful Facebook and Twitter pages and covered the 2008 presidential election, meeting President Obama alongside a select group of Latino online journalists invited to the White House. I also launched Vivala.com for CafeMedia. A founding editor, I developed the tone and voice for a mobile-first site for Millennial Latinxs. As Manager of Features & Special Projects, I produced multi-media editorial touching upon issues of race, identity, beauty standards, immigration, and religion that were picked up by ATTN, PopSugar, and Huffington Post.

I'm currently Editor in Chief for HipLatina.com, where I increased monthly UVs by over 500% in just 6 short months by refocusing the content on issues important to young Latinxs, like politics, pop culture, and identity. The growth and audience engagement driven by the content & social strategy I implemented lead H Code Media to acquire the site in July of 2018.

A tireless advocate for the representation of people of color in the arts and entertainment, I also founded Galchemism, a social media and events platform to empower, encourage and educate women of color in media. My proudest moment is a tossup between the birth of my son and my back-to-back Fantasy Football championships.
