Born and raised in Venezuela. Informatics Engineering (1982), MsSc (1996) and PhD (2008). Working in Information Systems since 1982, 10 years as a programmer and annalyst, 10 as a project manager. Dedicated to research and teaching since 2001 at the Algarve of University. Married, two sons.
