I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin (Hook e'm Horns!) with a degree in Advertising last year in 2011, but college already seems like a much longer time ago. Now I'm a Junior Studio Artist at Publicis with an itch for UI/UX. I am a designer at heart and familiar with web capabilities. I am intrigued and amazed by what technology and user interaction has achieved so far, especially with gears shifting at a high speed toward mobile and tablet. Who wouldn't want in on that cake? I know I'm hungry for it.

In 2009, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Pamplona, Spain. I met a lot of incredible people during my time there. The various European cultures, gastronomies, and small adventures I encountered have given me a more real understanding and appreciation for cultures that are different from my own, something I am very grateful for.

I am easy-going with a great sense of pleasantly dry humor; and most importantly, I play well with others. Away from the computer screen, I like to read (dystopia and Martian chronicles are my favorites), wake up before the crack of dawn to train for my first half-marathon, drool over beautiful typography, and travel to far away places with a backpacking trip to Machu Picchu as my next destination. Oh, and I'm environmentally friendly.
