sensory interior design, architecture in harmony with nature, and well being interior design in Spain
Hello, I'm Mariel Murias, an architect deeply committed to creating spaces that foster well-being and harmony. My approach to design is rooted in sensory interior design, where I emphasise the importance of engaging all five senses to cultivate environments that look beautiful and feel enriching and nurturing.
With years of experience in the field, I developed the MUMA Method, a unique approach that blends my passion for architecture in harmony with nature and well being interior design. This method allows me to create spaces that promote health, comfort, and a deep connection with the natural world. My designs aim to be more than just aesthetically pleasing; they are holistic environments that enhance the quality of life for their inhabitants.
My journey into architecture began with a fascination for how spaces influence our emotions and well-being. Over time, I realised that traditional design often overlooked the profound impact that natural elements and sensory engagement could have on our daily lives. This realisation led me to pioneer a new approach, the MUMA Method, which integrates principles of biophilia, sustainable design, and sensory experiences to create genuinely transformative spaces.
In my projects, I use natural materials, maximise natural light, and incorporate elements like water, plants, and natural textures. These choices are not just about aesthetics but about creating environments where people can thrive. My goal is to design spaces that support mental clarity, emotional balance, and physical health, ultimately contributing to the overall well-being of those who inhabit them.
Whether I am designing a private residence, a public space, or a commercial property, my focus is always on creating an atmosphere of tranquillity and connection with nature. By closely examining how each space element interacts with the senses, I ensure that every project I undertake is a sanctuary of comfort and well-being.
I am committed to transforming how we experience our built environments through the MUMA Method and my dedication to sensory interior design. My work is a testament to the belief that architecture can and should be in harmony with nature, creating spaces that meet our physical needs and nourish our souls.
I invite you to explore my portfolio and learn more about my design approach. Together, we can create spaces that enhance your well-being and connect you meaningfully with the natural world.
