Marie Manning
I am a daughter, sister, mother.
I was a granddaughter and will someday, I imagine, be a grandmother.
I am a cousin and friend, teacher and student, advisor and seeker.
I love to climb trees, play with my children, travel to all the places that call to me, and have game night with friends and family.
I am an avid reader.
I am a magazine writer, published poet and book author.
I am a dreamer and an activist.
I love art - seeing it, creating it, being it.
I am part of the paradigm shift towards positive media.
I create television shows and documentaries that are empowering and informative.
I host, and sometimes speak at, events to educate and inspire people.
I feel strongly about understanding our cultural history and intuitively creating environments where everyone can thrive.
I believe we are all connected: That every single experience we have we are co-creators of. That we are creatures of habit. That we prefer comfort. Often times we become so comfortable with how things are, even if it is not the way we want it to be, that we forget to search out all the wonderful possibilities of how things "could be."
I am here on this planet now to remind you to explore, look inside yourself and observe all you can around you. Discover how wonderful you are and how amazing our living planet is. Find moments of quiet and solitude each day. Sit with stillness. Ground in Nature. And balance this with fully engaging in meaningful ways in the community you reside. Put down roots. See the big picture. Connect. Love. Share. I am here to learn and do the same. We are in this together :)
My Two Blonde Sense?:
How can we heal suffering, famine, pollution, homelessness, and environmental crisis? Look. See the light in the person, the nation, and the child next to you. And act in a way that shows you do.
