Marie Mortera
Marie Mortera is happy to call Las Vegas home once again! Her return to Southern Nevada comes after working in Los Angeles for almost 2 years. At KTLA, Marie reported for an Emmy award winning morning show. Her reports included breaking news, celebrity cases and in depth coverage on some of California's most controversial issues, including medical marijuana. Marie started her career in Yuma, AZ. Anchoring and reporting in the Arizona desert turned out to be an amazing experience: Marie flew with the Blue Angels, toured the border with the Border Patrol and won an Edward R. Murrow award for her role in reporting on a Harrier Jet crash. In 2005, Marie moved to Las Vegas, where she reported, weather anchored and anchored the top rated weekend morning show in the market. In 2010, Marie returned to anchor the 4 pm newscast and a beat called Crime Tracker 3. In 2011, Marie was named Best Anchor by the Electronic Media Awards. When Marie isn't reporting on stories in your neighborhood, she's sharing her passion for health -- she is a certified indoor cycling instructor.
