What I love: People, design, craft, photography, film, nature, creative industries, exhibitions, mentoring, arts & architecture, research, heritage, jewellery, illustration, teaching, fashion, history, writing, animals, cultural policy and strategy, helping people, charities, volunteering, working hard, comedy, community, mentoring, diversity and social inclusion.

Currently: Working as Culture Expert for the EACEA Programme EU Commission, Reviewing Arts Provision within Wexford County Council, Setting up a footwear and accessories design training centre, mentoring creative businesses.

Previously: MBA lecturer (MBA in Professional Arts Management), mentoring creative enterprises; Evaluation of the RDS National Craft Awards - Ireland. Management and artistic direction of a music programme in a cathedral; Principal Lecturer/Course Leader - arts and event management AUB, UK; Author of cultural strategies; Public Art Consultant; Advisor to creative and craft based enterprises; Writer of socio-economic reports (economic value of the arts); Project Evaluator, creative business reviews, feasibility studies and interim management. I have lectured to post graduate level in arts, design, media and film and I continue to work in and with various creative industries.

I have developed community arts programmes, commissioned work, managed arts venues and galleries, and have also acted as a cultural commentator, media theorist, street performer, architectural photographer, florist and stallion handler!
