Marie strongly believes in equity and fairness. This comes from seeing the good, the bad and the ugly - and championing the good.

Marie is the daughter of Samoan immigrants, born in Christchurch, raised in Samoa and Newcastle Australia.
She speaks Samoan, English and is learning Mandarin Chinese.

In her spare time she enjoys reading biographies, keeping fit and healthy, and spending quality time with family.
