Marijana Bojanić is CEO tv Vijesti. Before that – she was - deputy director and editor in TV Vijesti since 2008. Bojanić is, also, journalist for the weekely „Monitor“ since 1999, Editor in Chief for the “Security" magazine and Contributor for a number of Montenegrin and regional newspapers and magazines. She has worked as a correspondent for international news networks, the London's IWPR and AIM from Paris, then, she collaborated with the Global Integrity in 2009. She was the author of the annual report on governance and corruption in Montenegro. She is awarded the title of an Honorable Environmental Ambassador by the BELLS coalition of regional environmental groups for her contribution to the protection and improvement of environment in Montenegro and award Green star, also for ecology

Marijana Bojanic was named as winner of the ISKRA Philanthropy Excellence Award in the media category by the Montenegrin Fund for Active Citizenship (FAKT). The award was in recognition for her work with the daily Vijesti and TV Vijesti for the public good. The prize specifically recognises Marijana’s work on corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the areas of ecology, protection of children and young people and other vulnerable groups. Her work mobilising individuals, public bodies and private companies in 2013. This is the first time an ISKRA award has been made in the media category. The Awards recognise and publicly present companies and individuals whose material and financial support lay down standards of public service that everyone should aim to achieve. They also aim to encourage the respect of values such as solidarity, humanity and philanthropy.
