Marike Brunberg

In my education backpack I have a M.Sc in Interaction design. For me it was a perfect match since I got the chance to combine studies within interface design, computer science and cognitive science.

I have been working 8 years with UX in different roles. I started as an IT consultant at Accenture for several different clients, then I joined Saab Aeronautics to work as an UX designer in the design team for the fighter aircraft Gripen E. I love the challenge with UX and that it covers a wide range of tasks and type of work. From the analysis part, "who is the targeted user and how will they work with the product?", down to the final pixel perfect UI design. This time, joining IFS, I jumped from how fighter pilots interact with a system in a time critical and physically pressured environment, to a design for a much wider user group and still aim for a top-class user interface. I have experience of user studies, field studies and eye tracking equipment (Tobii) when evaluating and optimizing ux. I like working with mock ups in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

In my free time I enjoy sports, I love go swimming and taking classes at the sport center. At home, me and my boyfriend Simon have a busy time taking care of our two sons Elijah (3) and Elwin (1). We enjoy being outdoors and we try to get out as much as we can. A nice "fika" outdoors is hard to beat.
