Marilou E. Pacubas, D.M.D.

Dr. Pacubas earned her Dental Degree from the University of the East in 1987 and completed the Dental Boards the following year. After graduation she opted to work with renowned prosthodontists to gain exposure and experience before venturing into her own private practice in 1989. In 1990, she attended the postgraduate program on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of the Philippines - PGH and joined the Meralco Endodontic Program in 1991.
In 1992, she went to Hawaii to undergo training in orthodontics under Dr. Sim. A year later she was accepted into active membership to the International Association of Orthodontics. In the same year, Dr. Pacubas was made a full member of the Philippine Prosthodontic Society.
Two years later, Dr. Pacubas began to focus her career in the field of aesthetic/cosmetic dentistry. It was her desire to bring back the confidence to people’s smiles which imbued her with a sense of mission. First, she underwent training in Provo, Utah under Dr. Gordon Christensen of Clinical Research Associates on Cosmetic Dentistry in Prosthodontics.
This was just the beginning of a series of training she undertook to hone her skills and keep abreast with the state-of-the-art in the field of aesthetic dentistry.
Dr. Pacubas has received numerous citations for her contributions to the field of cosmetic dentistry, specifically, in the field of tooth whitening, cosmetic veneers, treatment of halitosis, and introduction of aesthetic dentistry in general practice.
