Welcome to my "About Me" page! Just wanted to share a little about myself and how much I love teaching! I graduated college from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma in 2007. The Fall of 2007, I began my student teaching for Clinton Public Schools in the First Grade where I had the most terrific cooperating teacher ever! Thanks to those amazing First graders, I knew I loved teaching even more! I was hired by Clinton Public Schools to begin working in 2008 as a Gifted/Talented and Reading Specialist Teacher. What an amazing, fun experience as a first year teacher. Since this time I have continued teaching for Clinton Public Schools as a Third Grade teacher. For the school year 2011/2012 I moved to a Second Grade class and loved teaching this grade as well! Now I am beginning a new "looping" with the same class and I find myself back in Third grade with the same students. I absolutly LOVE this idea! We have had a great beginning to our first 9 weeks of school in preparation for the OCCT's and have more work to do.

I am married to the most wonderful husband, Gaylon and have two beautiful daughters, Genesis whom is a Seventh grader at CMS and Heaven who is also a Thrid grader at Southwest. We love our Heavenly Father and thank Him for all the blessings He gives us daily! We love traveling to new places to visit and so I can usually do some running. My next favorite thing to do, marathon running, besides cooking and eating it too!
