Candi Cornell

Born in 1952, I wrote my first mystery story at age nine in Tucson where I grew up as a fourth-generation Arizonan. I earned a BA in English from the University of Washington and a teaching credential from Seattle Pacific University. After sampling careers in newspaper reporting, textbook editing, and in Publicity at the American Broadcasting Company in Century City, California, I returned to my first love...writing. For over 20 years, I taught middle school English, wrote curriculum, and was a motivational speaker to thousands of parents and school teachers across the United States. In 2009, I retired to Tucson to write books--a lifelong dream come true!
