Previously a clinical psychologist, I now spend a great deal of my time researching my family history and using DNA to extend my knowledge and understanding of my ancestors.

It is the constant solving of genealogical problems which provides the challenges of a detective and the fulfillment of breaking through the barriers created by time and loss of records.

I am a co-administrator for the Family Tree DNA Kenyon Project, where the aim is to offer a genetic tool to assist and advance genealogical research for the Kenyon surname.

I also follow NBA basketball. In my view, it is the greatest game ever created. The simplicity of it is genius - a ball, a basket, and a court. It is affordable for anyone, it can be placed in neighborhoods around the world, and it can be played in solitary practice, one-on-one, up to a full team.
