What do you want to be when you "grow up" and why?

I want to be a TV anchor on Access Hollywood, E! or Extra. Since I was little I would always watch Access Hollywood and I found it so cool to find out all this information about celebrities. I love to talk and I believe I have the personality to be on TV.

Why did I choose WSU?

I chose WSU because of their communication school. The Edward R. Murrow School of Communication is one of the top communication schools on the West Coast. I knew that I wanted to major in communication so I chose WSU.

Favorite campus spot:

Compton Union Building (CUB). It is a great place to meet up with my friends, get some food, watch TV, and play games. It's a very relaxed and fun environment.

What advice do you have for new students?

Go to class!! Ask for help! Get to know your professors, office hours are very useful. Treat your syllabus with care! It has all the dates for when assignments are due and when test are.

What advice do you have for new Cougar parents?

Let your son or daughter find who they are. I believe college is a time when one really finds out about themselves. They no longer have their parent right there holding their hand. Support your children in the decisions that they make.
