Marina Shemesh

Hey, I’m Marina Shemesh. I grew up in South Africa but live now in Israel with my husband and two daughters.

My first grade teacher advised my mother that I should not learn to read and write before I start school. So at age five I would copy words from books and then ask my big sister to 'read' what I have written. Since those days I have not stopped writing.

I have a science degree in Genetics and if you think that I spent more of my time in the library researching and writing papers than than doing experiments in the lab, then you are correct.

Here in Israel I worked in the technical writing department of an e-learning company. Recently I completed a coding boot camp and would love to have a position where I can combine my writing and technical skills.
