Marina Castán

I am a designer and researcher from Barcelona living in London. After obtaining a Bachelor in Textiles Design, I proceeded with a MA in New Media Art Curating. I became professor and researcher at ESDi Design School in 2007. Since then, I have been doing research in innovative textiles and lately in wearable design. I also have taught textiles and organised innovative workshops in joint collaboration with local companies and other stakeholders, developing creative workshops to get innovative products and ideas. I am interested in smart technology and, more specifically, in how design can bring that technology to society in a meaningful way.
