Marina Kovaleva

Hi, I'm Marina. I live and work in Graz, Austria. I'm a native speaker of Russian and a freelance translator, tutor and proofreader. I have studied English and German for years. Moreover I lived and worked in Germany and Austria for years, therefore consider myself highly fluent. So I do translate into English and German too.

I started working as a freelance translator in 2005 and completed my first Master's Degree in translation with honours at the State University of Kurgan (Russia).

Since then I have collaborated with different translation agencies from all over the world. My areas of specialization are: automotive, healthcare, marketing, science: presentations or articles of research projects (environment, transport, welding, biology and nano-technology), tourism. I have a high level of experience and understanding of technical terms. I can translate up to 3500-4000 words per day, depending on the complexity of the material.

Besides, I give private lessons in Russian, German and English for any use.

Finally, I am also proficient in professional transcription, in any of my working languages.
