I was born in Brooklyn, New York but raised in Jacksonville, North Carolina by both my mother and father.I became a mother at 17 but it just pushed me to want more out of my life. So with that I graduated from Northside High School not only that I was part of top 10 of my graduating class . My father was a U.S Marine so when I was younger I knew I wanted to serve my country as my father did. After graduation I swore into the U.S Army National Guard. I left for basic training and came back a better person for myself , my country especially my daughter Mattie Bell. When i got back I learned I was accepted into North Carolina Central University.
Once school started I enrolled into Army ROTC at Duke University and started my major in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a concentration in Chemistry. Through my early college experience I finished 80 hours of community service. Currently I am raising Junior at North Carolina Central University. With ending last Spring 2015 semester with a 2.7 GPA. My goals are to go to military medical school at Fort Sam located in Texas after graduating and commissioning in May 2017.
