I own and operate Suenos Azules Marine Surveying and Consulting, a marine surveying and consulting firm based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Suenos Azules Marine Surveying and Consulting offers pre-purchase, insurance, valuation, damage claim, engine surveys, thermal imaging, and ultrasonic marine surveys. I can perform marine engine diagnostics and troubleshooting on most four stroke and two stroke outboard and inboard engines. I also provide USCG licensed captain services for charter and yacht deliveries for both power and sailing vessels.
I am a SAMS® Accredited Marine Surveyor. My background bio starts with over 30 years of sailing and boating experience. I was a former member of the U.S. Coast Guard for a total of eight years where I served as a Federal Boarding Officer and Qualified Coxswain. I was part of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Noble Eagle. I also have an extensive background in law enforcement. After seeing far to much and having my fill of the bureaucracy and its ill effects, I have retired my badge and gun and am living the quiet life as a marine surveyor and licensed captain. I have a Master Captain's License, hold a USPAP® Training Certifcate on Appraisal Standards, I am a Certified Yamaha Outboard Engine Technician, a Certified Mercury Outboard Engine Technician, a Certified Mercury V12 Outboard Engine Technician, a Certified Honda Outboard Engine Technician, ABYC Gasoline Engines Certified Technician, ITC® Certified Level III Master Thermographer, a member of SAMS® (Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors), a member of the International Association of Marine Investigators, and am ABYC® Standards Accredited.
