I thought I wouldn't write about myself in the third person.

I am usually excited about lots of things in the beginning and a lot of that excitement fades over time. but my excitement for a few things is renewed constantly: creativity, thinking, making and marking our place(s) in the world.

I am always excited to think about how people figure out the hard business of writing especially when are not in love with it and even more especially when writing does not love those people back.
