After my legal studies, I decided to extend my knowledge of the National and International Regulatory markets as well as global models of governance and regulation, by attending a stimulating second level Master program in Markets Regulation and Competition, focusing in particular on the Media market and all the relevant matters linked to such field - from the traditional TLCs to the new and challenging world of the ISPs.
For these reasons, I was really glad to have my first professional experience in Telecom Italia, former Italian monopoly in the TLCs industry. My period in this company gave to me the opportunity to improve my technical skills, my versatility and also showed to be able to make comparative studies of national legislations and their compliance to the international standards in light of what established by the Authorities, dealing with a gigantic organization where the capacity to show problem solving abilities in order to overcome the bureaucratic obstacles is a must.
Then I had the opportunity to have an internship period in the Legal and Business Affairs Department of Google Italy, a smaller company if compared to Telecom Italia but a proper International reality where I improved my competences thanks to the possibility to work with people having different backgrounds and nationalities, cooperating with various offices and departments based both in Italy and abroad.
It was a stimulating chance to work in an always changeable context where technical skills are not less important than ideas and creativity also and in particular for a legal counsel whose purposes are to find innovative solutions which are legal solutions at the same time able to respond to the queries of a market which not easily fit into preconceived frameworks and not either is easily translatable into laws and rules.
