Mario Carrozzo

Experienced entrepreneur Mario Carrozzo is the founder and director of Caridon Group, which focuses on social housing, vulnerable tenants, development and providing housing for young people. Mario won the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ award at the 2017 Croydon Business Excellence Awards 2017 and named as one of the ‘Top Ten Property Specialists of 2022’ in an article that appeared on The Property Investor website.

Over the past decade, Caridon Group has grown rapidly, procuring, building and supplying quality homes across London and the South East. The Group owns over 1,500 properties and manages a further 400 via its rental guarantee scheme, providing accommodation to thousands of tenants. Many of these tenants are homeless referrals who have connected with the company through its work with refuges and charities.

Caridon Young Living is an arm of the Caridon Group and provides support and accommodation services to those aged 16 to 21 who wish to transition to independent living but who may require additional help and care to do so. The Caridon Young Living team aims to provide high-quality support in a positive and caring environment, helping young people to fulfil their potential, realise their personal goals and achieve independence.

Outside of work, Mario enjoys traveling and has visited countries across American, central South America and Europe. He also loves to try new cuisines and cites his favourite dishes as French, Pan-Asian and Italian.

Mario enjoys a range of sports, including mixed martial arts and boxing, and regularly visits the gym.
